Contactfree Respiratory Measurement in the MRI bore

We use a laserbased system that is guided through a feed-through in the RF shielded room to a mirror that is directly located above the patients belly. The reflected optical signal is measured and evaluated and provides respiratory information that can be used for MRI image compensation.
