A richer 3-D vision at Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego
At the 2025 Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego California, Kristine Krug led a symposium that brought together the latest thinking on mammalian vision in a 3D world. A common theme among the contributors was how common mechanisms of neuronal circuitry for binocular vision are specifically adapted to the ecological niches that are occupied by different animals. A wide range of species from mouse, cat, tree shrew, macaque and human were featured.
