Enantiomers are isomers of extreme relevance in the production of pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. The objective of this project is to improve the production of pure enantiomers by clever combinations of reaction and separation steps. First promising results were obtained for the combination of racemization reactions and chromatographic separation techniques including SMB, SSR, and elution chromatography.
