In this Project, we developed together with Acrometrix/Life Technologies the product SynThura. SynThura is based on a recombinant bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV). SynThura is actually produced and used in standard RT-PCR tests for the diagnosis of different virus infections, e.g. hepatitis C virus.
