The aim of this project is to address the molecular basis of complex formation and membrane association of the two cytosolic adapter proteins ADAP and SKAP55, two key molecules for integrin-dependent T-cell adhesion. The contribution of individual interaction and lipid-binding domains of theses adapter proteins for complex formation will be probed in vitro and their respective functionality in vivo will be analyzed in cell culture and mouse models.
