TECHSIGHT proposal is a strategic foresight and innovation initiative aimed at positioning European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) at the forefront of sustainable and inclusive deep tech development. Recognizing HEIs as vital hubs within the "knowledge triangle integration" of universities, industry, and government/others, TECHSIGHT enables future European leadership in the deep tech field. Leveraging successful frameworks from previous EIT HEI cohorts, such as the PROMETHEUS project, TECHSIGHT enhances HEIs' innovation and entrepreneurship capacity-building activities by incorporating future thinking methodologies. This approach utilizes horizon scanning and strategic foresight to anticipate trends, enabling HEIs not only to respond effectively to industry needs but also to become future global leaders. This forward-thinking strategy prepares HEIs to proactively address future technological shifts while creating an interconnected, sustainable deep tech ecosystem that drives growth and impact across Europe.
