In this project within the framework of the DFG major research instrumentation programme, a planning/navigation device is to be interfaced with a computer tomograph so that it can act as a central information system. In addition, algorithms are to be developed to facilitate CT-supported interventions in cooperation with several research groups on the STIMULATE research campus. These include, for example, new deep-learning-based segmentation procedures and path optimization algorithms to support multi-applicator planning or new CT image reconstruction procedures to reduce artifacts while saving radiation dose.
